Member Fire Mitigation Grants

The ZHA Fire Committee is again making excess state and federal grant funds available to members.  A total of $10,000, maximum $2,000 per member/owner, is available on a first come, first approved basis.  This money is for reimbursement for funds or time already spent towards mitigating fire fuels on your property.  It is not starter money for a new project.

• Work must have been completed in the last 12 months prior to applying

• scope of project and goals accomplished must be listed (before and after photos are useful)

• money spent, volunteer hours must be documented (volunteer hours will be converted @ $30.31/hour)

• your land must be inspected by the ZHA Fire Committee
