IN AN EMERGENCY:
PHONE 911 IMMEDIATELY*The 911 dispatcher will notify first responders; *The 911 dispatcher will ask for:

The nature of the emergency and important details
(IF MEDICAL CONDITION, INJURY, FIRE, FLOOD, VEHICLE ACCIDENT);
Your name;Your phone number; Location of Emergency;
• The Zapata Subdivision EAST off milepost 12.5 on Highway 150; • Nearest street address;• And/or identifying land marks (creeks, roads, structures);You to stay on the call until responders arrive;
• To consult with 911 Dispatcher before engaging the emergency;
• To keep dispatcher informed of situation and your actions.

• Tell Dispatch whether you are trained in CPR/First Aid;• Consult with 911 Dispatch before deciding to move or treat an
injured or sick person- CPR/First Aid Trainings are helpful in deciding —
- If an injured or sick person must NOT be moved at all;- If an injured or sick person MUST by moved to safer location nearby - - (Eg. Out of sun, cold, hail or rain, lightning danger, etc.)
If an injured or sick person can be moved towards medical help
EVACUATION GUIDANCE
• Official notification to evacuate will come from either:• An authorized official at the scene; or• Reverse 911 robo calls• You may hear the subdivision siren activated by 911 dispatch.
• Wind interferes with the sound, so stay up to date on “reverse 911” messages.
• (Any tests of the siren will be posted by date and time of day, on the ZHA website, and in the ZHA newsletter.)
• After notification you have 30 minutes to be out of the subdivision. • Prepare the home —
Close and unlock windows and doors
Leave contact information; take: mask, important papers and treasures,
emergency supply kit
Confine pets early for ease of removal.

• EMERGENCY EXIT ROUTES
• (Refer also to Appendix G Map)
• Main subdivision entrance. Use only the OUTBOUND road from the gate, Leave the inbound road free for emergency vehicles.
At the highway, turn away from the direction of the fire.
• If main entrance is blocked —
A secondary and emergency only exit route leaves south Mill Run
Road towards the southwest at the upper steep right angle bend. It is marked by a sign. ***ZHA recommends you find and evaluate this route regularly, with your vehicle in mind.***
Depending on the condition of this secondary route it may require a high clearance vehicle, & all wheel/four wheel drive. Assess route regularly.

including Appendices, and for you, family and tenants/guests to review it often. • To create your own plan and review with family, guests/tenants• To register with the “reverse 911” Authority at http://slve911.org/.) If
already registered, to check your information on this web site, including the map
location of your home.• To have or obtain up-to-date CPR and First Aid training and make access to a
first aid kit easy for all family and guests/tenants.• To attend annual ZHA fire response trainings, especially on use of tanker
trailers. Only folks trained in the proper way to activate and pressurize hoses
should attempt to use these trailers;
To post appropriately any medical information helpful to emergency responders.
To mitigate your individual property and home against wild land fire, flooding and small household fires;
• To identify two personal property exit routes.
